Dear Mr I wear pink for my Aunt Kamilah,
Wow, we have been through a lot as a young family already and here you are only 9 months old. But when you were about 6 months old your Aunt Kam was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 28, such a young age. But she will WIN this. Today was her first chemo treatment, and today we are watching the girls, Its hard to not be able to go to chemo with your Aunt Kamilah but your daddy has school and I cant take you. But already we have been through alot together, rather you know it or not. When you Aunt Kamilah was diagnosed and called and told me, I had you, Nevaeh, Jaydah and Alex, and I knew I HAD to stay strong altho all I wanted to do was break down and ask why? Why our family? Why MY sister? (I felt as if i was mad, I would NEVER LET anyone hurt MY SISTER, and thats what I felt like was going on) But I had you all and I knew I couldnt do that. And maybe that was why I had you all, Maybe that was Gods way of keeping me from questioning him and what he has in store for us. So I then just held you tight and prayed. I knew my sister was strong and and wonderful women and now I know she can get through anything.
So now it started a journey that we would all watch your Aunt Kamilah win, Altho it may be hard at times to see her sick and hurt and at times it maybe even harder to watch the girls be soo confused in what is going on. But we will all get through this as a family. So your Aunt Kam and Uncle D went to MN to the Mayo clinic to find out what would be best, and the recommend her to have both breast removed, and that she did. So when she called and told us that she would be having surgery we packed up our things and Me, you, Daddy, Meme, Papaw, Nevaeh, and Jaydah drove all the way to MN 17 hours of driving there and then 17 hours driving back. It was wild but we are a family and we HAD to be there for Aunt Kam. When we got there we had a few days to spend time with her before she shad her surgery, So then we went around town and we also went to the mall of America (will post about later) and we just hung out, ate and had fun.
Then we all had shirt to match for when Aunt Kam had surgery. We were in and out of the hospital and in and our of the hotel room, altho we were there for Aunt Kams surgery we had a pretty good time, besides seeing her in pain. But she did it and she did great!!!!!
And We know she will do just as good during her chemo, altho she may be sick and she may have a hard time she will cont to fight and cont to win.
Just remember Brycen, no matter what God may hand to you, he will never give you more then you can take on, Always smile and most importantly ALWAYS PRAY, God is GREAT!!!!
